Save Our Sons

Money Raised as at 21st March - $50,542

The Full House Group is thrilled to announce we have recently partnered with the charity organisation Save Our Sons. Save Our Sons is working hard to raise funds which will go towards finding a cure to Duchenne Muscular Distrophy (DMD).

DMD is a degenerative muscle disease which affects young boys and heartbreakingly, has a 100% mortality rate. Save Our Sons is dedicated to raising the funds required for a human clinical trial which could lead to a cure for this terrible disease.

Elie Eid, founder of Save Our Sons, has been thrilled by the support of the poker community,.

"Save Our Sons' biggest event Play for a Cure - Casino Royale has always had the support of Australian Poker League and Inner West Franchisee Con Valassis. “ he said.

“To now have an official partnership with the company is a fantastic outcome.”

The partnership, which will be launched officially over The Main Event weekend, will be an important step in raising funds for the much needed research. The Full House Group will be donating 1% from every Main Event seat and players are encouraged to donate 1 per cent of their winnings to this wonderful organisation through the “1% for $1,000,000” campaign.

Following The Main Event there will be a $5 double up week from March 18 to 24, with funds raised going to Save Our Sons. The week will also include a $100 buy in event at Revesby Workers Club on Saturday, 23rd of March, with a WSOP APAC seat and $1,000 towards travel for the winner.

The Full House Group is excited to get behind this fantastic organisation and we believe over the next couple of months we can make some huge inroads into assisting SOS  raise $1,000,000. Dig deep!
