π APLPT Albury Main Event Champion β Kavinda Perera π
Kavinda Perera has etched his name into the history books as the APLPT Albury Main Event Champion!
The Melbourne-based player, usually found at cash game tables or grinding online, took on a tough field of 398 entrants and emerged victorious, securing his first-ever five-figure live tournament payday.
After the win, Kavinda admitted he was feeling exhausted but absolutely thrilled. Having rarely traveled for poker before, his first taste of the APL Million last year piqued his interest in more live events, and this decision paid off in a big way!
His road to victory started just yesterday when he entered the Main Event, firing only a single bullet into Flight 5. He bagged 270,500 chips, and the rest, as they say, is history!

More recently, he dominated the APL600 6-Max Shot Clock event for over $20,000 and added a second-place finish in The Centurion for another $15,000.
This time, Paris took on a 179-player field in the Jackstar Super High Roller and went the distance, securing another well-earned victory!
